ACH refund changes require token verification in ACE Portal
Starting October 10, 2026, CBP requires email or SMS security-token verification to complete an addition or modification of ACH refund information in an ACE Portal importer sub-account. The token is sent by email; SMS is an optional delivery method. The requirement applies when an authorized ACE Portal user changes ACH refund information in an importer sub-account; without token verification, the change cannot be completed. Other authorized users may opt to receive email or SMS alerts after changes, but those alerts are optional and do not replace verification.
