Classification

Tariff classification

Research an HTS classification from product facts, with the headings, notes, GRIs and CBP rulings cited.

Your assistant proposes the heading with its evidence. The broker confirms it.

What it does

  1. 1Asks for any fact the classification turns on
  2. 2Searches the tariff schedule and CBP rulings with every fact supplied
  3. 3Reads the section and chapter notes for each candidate heading
  4. 4Checks each ruling still stands, and names the ruling that replaced it if not
  5. 5Proposes a 10-digit HTSUS number, GRI by GRI, with every step cited

Imports

Import compliance

Know what an import carries and what it must meet: duty rates, Section 232, 301 and IEEPA duties, country of origin, marking and USMCA or other programs.

Base duty is not total entry liability, and whether goods qualify for a program stays your call.

Find the Commerce Control List entries and EAR provisions that bear on an item or an export.

It finds and quotes the text. The export classification and license decision are yours.

Sanctions list lookup

Find whether a name appears on OFAC's SDN or Consolidated lists, with the listing entries cited.

It reports what the listings say. It does not clear a party or a transaction.
