ACE statement errors: ignore invalid statements and verify payment authorizations

Entry and Filing Procedure

Filers who received erroneous statements for July 29 or July 30 should ignore them; an attempt to authorize an erroneously generated statement will be rejected. CBP says it has addressed the ACE issue and provides this guidance for affected trade participants.

The guidance covers certain entry summaries submitted October 23, 27, or 28: some filers may have received duplicate statements for summaries scheduled to print on or before October 30, while others may have received statements early for future print dates. For duplicates, filers may reschedule or use ACE Reports’ REV-104 Daily Statement Entry Summary List to identify the correct statement number; early statements should be ignored, and the correct statement will be sent on its scheduled date. Filers who receive payment-authorization errors or suspect a statement is wrong should use REV-104 to confirm the statement number.
